Principal Message

Good afternoon! We hope all were able to enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends! As we return back to school this week, the calendar will turn to December and we will be working on the second half of the second quarter. During the second quarter, students will also be taking the End of Course Tests, and there will be an exam prior to winter break. The End of Course tests are crucial for Ohio Graduation. Attendance will be critical for these. Students testing would have received an email, and a mailer was also sent home. Students that have not yet met the competency or proficiency score will be participating in state testing.

Also as we return from Thanksgiving, winter sports are off and running. Girls basketball, boys basketball, bowling, and swimming all have events this week.

Please continue to help reinforce positive values with your student as we progress through the year. We will continue to promote the values of the Raider Way.

As a reminder, when dropping off students in the morning. Please drop them off so they can exit onto the sidewalk and not have to cross all of the lanes. When dropping off students, all are encouraged to use the entire length of the fire lane when dropping off students. Students that are walking to school and crossing Elm need to use the signals to help with alert oncoming traffic. Thanks for your assistance with keeping students safe. Have a great week!

Go Red Raiders!
