We are excited to announce the 2026 Argonaut Expedition!
From June 21 to June 27, 2026, the Argonauts will return to the Houston area for an immersive, high-impact expedition that brings aeronautics, data analysis, coding, and design thinking to life. With access to world-class universities, NASA, and a thriving aeronautics industry, Houston provides the perfect launchpad for this unforgettable learning experience.
From the very first expedition planning meetings, students will engage in authentic data collection, using real tools and methodologies to guide their thinking and decision-making. Throughout the expedition, the Argonauts will interact directly with industry professionals, explore careers in aeronautics, and investigate the various areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that drive this dynamic field.
A defining feature of the 2026 Argonaut Expedition is its strong emphasis on mathematics and data collection. Students will collect, analyze, and interpret data to solve complex, real-world problems, building algebraic thinking and advanced data analysis skills. Participants will determine what data to capture, how to analyze it, and how to apply insights to drive effective solutions—highlighting the essential role of design thinking and problem-solving in successful system models.
Students will visit local facilities, participate in multiple hands-on, inquiry-driven experiences, and culminate their learning by presenting their findings to industry partners—with products designed to be shared with districts and school boards upon their return to school next year. Expedition Location Houston, Texas

Attendance is crucial for every student at London City Schools. As we work to strengthen learning, consistent attendance has never been more vital. Every day matters. Both excused and unexcused absences add up and can impact student learning. School plays a pivotal role in preparing students for future success as individuals and engaged community members. |
Students, it is important to never share personal information such as your phone number, address, email, or photos with strangers. This information should only be shared with a parent’s permission and when they are with you. Keeping your personal information private helps keep you safe. Parents, please talk with your students about the importance of protecting personal information and staying safe. |
Hello Families,
With the very cold weather we are experiencing, please make sure your students are dressed appropriately each day (coat, hat, gloves, etc.). If you are unsure whether your student should stay home, please feel free to call the nurse in your student’s building, we are happy to help.
Also, if your phone number has changed, please call the office or update it in Final Forms so we can update our records. In case of an emergency, it is very important that we are able to reach you.
Lastly, please remember to send an extra set of clothing to keep in your student’s locker or bookbag. Accidents, spills, and illness can happen, and having extra clothes available helps your student return to class quickly without missing valuable instructional time. | London Athletics Weekly Recap - January 12–17 Created by: Brylee Huff and Jacey Peters A busy and successful week for London athletics featured strong performances in the pool, dominant basketball victories, and multiple wins and placements on the wrestling mats. 🔴⚪ Alumni Spotlight: Isaiah Jones
London’s own Isaiah “Bones” Jones starred for the Indiana Hoosiers on Monday night as they beat the Miami Hurricanes 27 - 21 to win the College Football National Championship! The junior linebacker did it all for the Hoosiers in the title game as he contributed 2 solo tackles, 1 deflected pass, 1 punt return, and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown! This story is even more incredible, as Isaiah and his teammates helped deliver Indiana University’s first-ever football national championship. Congratulations to Isaiah Jones and the entire Jones family!
🏊 Swimming
London Swimming had an excellent week at two meets. At Marysville, the Red Raiders placed 2nd overall, led by Griffin Lotton, who finished 2nd in both the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Gabe Scholl added a 3rd-place finish in the 200 IM and 5th in the 100 backstroke, while Caelan Mars placed 3rd in the 500 freestyle. James Thompson recorded top-ten finishes in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Grace Lotton finished 6th in both the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly on the girls' side. Later in the week, at a highly competitive 70-team meet in Canton, Griffin Lotton earned a 9th-place finish in the 500 freestyle.
🏀 Girls Basketball
London Girls Basketball put together a dominant week with three convincing wins. The Red Raiders opened with a 69–42 home victory over Bloom-Carroll, led by Addison Lambert’s 18 points, while Madilyn Adkins recorded a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double. London followed with a 68–15 road win at Ben Logan, featuring balanced scoring led by Adkins and Katelyn Duvall with 10 points each. The week concluded with a 57–24 win at Bellefontaine, where Lambert scored 15 points, and London’s defense shone behind Mya Edley’s all-around effort and Adkins’ four blocks.
🏀 Boys Basketball London Boys Basketball picked up a quality home win on January 16, defeating Urbana 67–59. JJ Calloway led all scorers with 24 points, knocking down four three-pointers while adding rebounds, steals, and blocks. Colin Nickell contributed 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Maddox Sexton and Luke Johnson helped control the game with efficient guard play. 🤼 Wrestling
London Wrestling enjoyed success on both the boys' and girls' sides. The girls' team earned a home win over Northwestern and later placed 10th out of 47 teams at Mechanicsburg, led by Lorrain Durham’s 4th-place and Shayla Lowe’s 5th-place finishes. The boys' team secured dominant home victories over Northwestern and Kenton Ridge, then placed 11th out of 19 teams at Miami Trace, with Tavon Huff, Bryce Tinney, and Damian Ward all earning individual placements.
