Happy New Year

Dear High School Student Families,

As we enter a brand new year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible support you provide to your high school students. Your commitment to their education and well-being is truly commendable.

In the coming year, may your homes be filled with laughter, understanding, and shared accomplishments. Your role in shaping the next generation is invaluable, and your partnership with us in the journey of education is deeply cherished.

May 2024 bring forth opportunities for growth, memorable achievements, and strengthened family bonds. Your encouragement and involvement make a significant difference in the lives of our students, and we are grateful for the positive impact you have on their academic and personal development.

Here's to a New Year filled with joy, success, and the continued flourishing of our students under your nurturing care. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.

Warmest wishes for a Happy New Year!

ATTENDANCE MATTERS: LCS PARTNERS WITH STAY IN THE GAME NETWORK TO HELP ADDRESS CHRONIC STUDENT ABSENCES

Consistent attendance helps your child form lasting friendships, develop a sense of belonging, and build positive relationships with teachers and staff. These connections create a supportive learning environment.

A quick update from Nurse:

As cold and flu season is upon us, feel free to ask any questions about when to keep your child home from school. If your child hasn't received a flu shot yet, it's not too late—contact their pediatrician or check with the Health Department. Remember, keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, or respiratory issues. Encourage good handwashing to prevent illnesses.
