Transportation

Bus Safety Reminder

This is a reminder of how important it is for students to ride their assigned bus, get off at the correct stop, and follow safe practices at bus stops.

When students do not follow their assigned transportation plan, it can create confusion and potential safety concerns. Please help us by reminding your child to wait in a safe location, stay back from the road, and follow driver directions at all times.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students safe.

Sincerely,
London City Schools Transportation Department

Chronic absence can be easy to miss, especially when it results from occasional missed days rather than long stretches away from school. Both excused and unexcused absences add up, and consistent attendance plays a vital role in your child’s success. Let’s partner together to make sure every school day matters.

Safety

For the safety of all students, please remember to drop off and pick up your child only in designated areas. Following these procedures helps keep traffic moving efficiently and protects everyone in the school zone. Please follow the posted speed limit, avoid double parking or blocking crosswalks, and do not allow students to exit vehicles in the middle of the street. Your cooperation plays an important role in keeping all students safe.

Nurse news

Hello Families,

If you have a child who will be in 7th or 12th grade next year (2026-2027 school year), you may want to make sure they have the required immunizations. For 7th, it is a Tdap and the first of two meningococcals, and for 12th graders, it is the second meningococcal. Now is a good time to schedule an appointment or get your exemption updated if needed. Having this done will prevent your child from being excluded from school.

Please make sure we are updated with new phone numbers and having an extra set of clothes and dressing appropriately for this ever changing Ohio weather.

Thank you for your support,

🥎 Softball
The Lady Raiders put together a flawless and dominant week, showcasing both offensive firepower and defensive strength. London opened with a 14-4 win over Miami Trace on March 24, followed by an impressive 14-1 road victory against Bishop Watterson on March 26. They capped off the week in commanding fashion with a 14-0 shutout over Ready on March 27. Scoring 42 runs across three games, the softball team proved to be nearly unstoppable at the plate while locking down opponents defensively.

🏈 Girls Flag Football
London’s girls flag football team continued to build momentum, earning its second win of the season with a 31-18 victory over Worthington Christian on March 27. The Raiders showed strong offensive execution and solid defensive play, continuing to grow as a team and gain confidence early in the season.
