Dear LHS Families,
State testing continues this week with the Algebra 1 and Geometry test on Tuesday and the American History and American Government test on Wednesday. Students testing will report at normal time. Students not testing will have a three hour delay on Tuesday and a two hour delay on Wednesday. Buses will run at their normally scheduled time. The bell schedules for testing are listed below in this update.
Additional information in this update includes, a link to Drive to Succeed (opportunity for financial assistance with driving.) As a reminder, check the printable version of your report card for school fee information. These can be paid at the school or through PaySchools.
Please refer to social media pages for the most up-to-date information on spring sports schedules and times due to any weather events.
If your student is in Algebra 1, American Government, American History, Biology, English 2, or Geometry, you should receive an email regarding specifics on the test date and the test room. You should have an email if your student is in any of these courses. If you are not receiving emails, please check your spam or review your FinalForms to make sure your email is correct.
We hope everyone has a great break!

Bus Safety Reminder
This is a reminder of how important it is for students to ride their assigned bus, get off at the correct stop, and follow safe practices at bus stops.
When students do not follow their assigned transportation plan, it can create confusion and potential safety concerns. Please help us by reminding your child to wait in a safe location, stay back from the road, and follow driver directions at all times.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students safe.
Sincerely, London City Schools Transportation Department

We know that life gets busy and appointments are sometimes unavoidable. When possible, we encourage families to schedule doctor, dentist, and other appointments outside of school hours. If your child does need to miss school, returning for part of the day can make a meaningful difference in keeping them on track.
As you plan ahead, please remember that all absences—both excused and unexcused—add up and impact your child’s overall attendance. Whenever possible, we recommend scheduling vacations during school breaks and holidays to help your child stay engaged and supported in their learning.
|
As we continue working together to keep our students and staff safe, we ask all drivers to please follow posted school zone speed limits. Slowing down and staying alert, especially during arrival and dismissal times, helps create a safer environment for everyone.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our school community safe!

Hello Families,
If you have a child who will be in 7th or 12th grade next year (2026-2027 school year), you may want to make sure they have the required immunizations. For 7th, it is a Tdap and the first of two meningococcals, and for 12th graders, it is the second meningococcal. Now is a good time to schedule an appointment or get your exemption updated if needed. Having this done will prevent your child from being excluded from school.
Please make sure we are updated with new phone numbers and having an extra set of clothes and dressing appropriately for this ever changing Ohio weather.
Thank you for your support,

📰 Red Raiders Roll: Baseball Stays Hot, Track Shines at Home Tri-Meet
Created by: Brylee Huff and Jacey Peters
⚾ Varsity Baseball
London baseball put together a strong stretch, winning all three contests in convincing fashion. The Red Raiders opened the week on the road with a dominant 16-5 victory over DeSales on March 30. They kept the momentum rolling back home on April 2, shutting out Central Crossing 10-0 in a complete team performance. London capped off the week on April 4 with another impressive win, defeating Barberton 12-2 to stay red-hot at the plate and on the mound.
🥎 Varsity Softball The Lady Raiders faced a tough matchup at home on March 31, falling to Olentangy Orange 7-3. Despite the loss, London competed hard against a strong opponent and continues to build experience early in the season.
🏃 Track & Field
London Track delivered an outstanding performance at their home tri-meet on March 31, winning 6 total events. Leading the way were Blake Reay and Lily Lohrer, who each captured two individual event victories, showcasing the team’s depth and talent across multiple disciplines.
