Principal Message

Good afternoon families!

Welcome back from Spring Break! The fourth quarter begins as we return from break. It also brings us State Testing, Spring Sports, grades for advancement to the next school year, and for our Seniors, Graduation. When you return, it will be time to bring your best to finish the year strong.

Report cards will be available on Friday. Grades from this quarter will determine eligibility into the fourth quarter and could have an impact on spring sports and earning credit at the end of the semester.

Notice to all families, please check the printed version of the last interims. School fees are listed. Some fees have been accumulating since elementary school.

Notice to all high school drivers, beware of your surroundings, watch for pedestrians, take your time in school zones, and if assisting with dropping off siblings- watch for children getting in and out of cars.

Employers, colleges, and military will want to know about your attendance and that you are making a significant effort towards your future self. For our seniors, this is your last semester; make it count. Start planning to make sure you have done all of the necessary things to be able to walk in at Graduation in May.

Go Red Raiders!

-Ryan Rismiller

Driver's Education

Schwartz Driving School has opened a location in London. It is located at 167 West High Street. They have also provided vouchers to the school which gives students FREE classroom instruction. The driver's training is at a reduced rate through the voucher. These vouchers can be picked up from Mr. Rismiller. Families will need to call Schwartz Driving School at 614-882-4235 to enroll.

Pay Schools
Attendance

As students return from break, remember that regular attendance is key to academic success and personal growth. Each school day is an opportunity to learn and achieve, and missing even one day can set students back. Let’s ensure every student attends daily, arrives on time, and is ready to learn. Thank you for your support in making every day count!

Stay Alert & Stay Safe: Bus Stop Safety Tips

London City Schools reminds all students to stay aware and use caution when walking to and from the bus stop. Your safety is our top priority!

Stay Aware – Avoid distractions like phones or headphones. Pay attention to traffic and your surroundings.
Use Caution – Walk on sidewalks when possible, and always look both ways before crossing streets.
Be Visible – Wear bright clothing or reflective gear in low-light conditions.
Stand Back – Stay at least five giant steps away from the curb while waiting for the bus.
Cross Safely – Always wait for the bus driver’s signal before crossing in front of the bus.

A little caution goes a long way—let’s keep every journey to and from school safe!

Stay Active, Stay Healthy!

The London City Schools Nursing Department encourages all students and staff to get moving for better health! Physical activity isn’t just for Physical Education class—it’s an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

Move Throughout the Day – Take short activity breaks, stretch, or walk.
Enjoy the Outdoors – Fresh air and movement boost mood and energy levels.
Stay Active, Stay Focused – Exercise improves concentration and helps reduce stress.

Let’s make movement a daily habit for a healthier, happier school community!

Parents, for the safety of all students, please remember to drop off and pick up your child only in the designated areas. Following these guidelines helps keep traffic flowing smoothly and ensures the safety of everyone. Avoid double parking or blocking crosswalks, and never let students out in the middle of the street or parking lot. Your cooperation helps us keep the school zone safe for all students!

Let’s work together to stay safe!
