Dear High School Student Families,
It is the start of the fourth quarter. Report cards were released Friday. You should now be able to see these now on ProgressBook. As part of a student's involvement in school, they may have had fees associated with courses and/or activities they have participated in. Student fees are accessible on students' interim reports and grade cards that are accessible from your student's grade card portal. This information is typically found in the top left corner of the grade card. (These are printed on the grade cards that are mailed home and viewable by selecting "View Paper Report Card.") The amount that is posted is the accumulated amount from the last time fees have been paid.
Spring sports are in full swing! We will be preparing for state testing to come in April. We have a series of four-day weeks coming up with days off due to holidays, professional development, and the eclipse.
As we get closer to the state tests, you can practice with your students by accessing the Ohio State Testing Portal. Students will be taking End of Course Tests based on courses they are currently enrolled in or tests they may need to retake. Tests that will be given include English Language Arts 2, Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology, American History, and American Government. A score of 700 is needed to receive the status of proficient. 700 is also the score used for the earning of seals.
As we start to warm up, please read through the student handbook with district expectations, this includes the dress code. Students were given reminders as we ended the third quarter and went into Spring Break.
Drivers must adhere to posted school zone speed limits and exercise heightened awareness, particularly in the vicinity of crosswalks. Students are reminded to activate the crosswalk button, which functions similarly to a cell phone and responds to touch by a bare hand, and to exercise caution by checking for oncoming traffic before entering the crosswalk.
We are looking forward to a great week!
Go Red Raiders!

A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR OF TEACHER AND LEARNING
To Junior students who missed the ACT
Dear Parent/Guardian:
The London City Schools offered the ACT for Juniors on February 27, 2024. Your student was not in attendance and will need to participate in the required ACT make-up. This will be held on March 26, 2024, at 7:20am. Students will need to report to the College and Career Readiness Center at the High School. This is a graduation requirement for all students to complete. If your student attends Tolles, the student will be excused from Tolles to complete this test.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call Kylie Pritchard at 740/852-570 ext. 2104 or email at kylie.pritchard@london.k12.oh.us.
Sincerely,
Kylie Pritchard
