Dear High School Student Families,
Summer Checklist
Check that your student has returned Chromebook and cord
Check that your student has returned all textbooks
Check grade card for fees. Fees can be made by check and send to the school or by credit card on PaySchool (there is a convenience fee.) Questions about school fees, email angela.hill@london.k12.oh.us.
Review report cards. Students that have failed a semester of a course have been enrolled in Summer School and will be starting to make up failed courses.
Have your student start and/or finish there 10 hours of community service. More details and forms listed below.
Class of 2025, start looking for scholarships. Now is also a great time for college visits.
If you are looking for things for your student to do over the summer, there are several camps still listed below. Students can also be working on their community service hours. Clicking this link will get you information on some local opportunities and the Community Service form. There are other opportunities listed in this update as well. All students are required to have 10 hours of Community Service for graduation. Also to the Class of 2025, there are already scholarships that are available for you to apply to. These scholarships can be found by clicking here or seeing others listed below. Many colleges have virtual tours if you can't visit one in person.

The 2024-2025 district transportation survey is now available. In order to request transportation, parents should update their contact information in Final Forms and complete the transportation survey. All information should be submitted by Friday, August 2nd.
Transportation personnel will be present at each open house to provide specifics on the times and locations of student pickup and drop-off.

Enhancements to Safer Ohio School tip line include new options for reporting school safety concerns
In addition to calling and texting the state's free Safer Ohio School Tip Line (1-844-SAFEROH), recent changes now enable Ohioans to report school safety information using a new smartphone app and online web form to quickly report concerns. The tip line is staffed by crisis response professionals who are trained to help individuals contemplating self-harm.
988 Lifeline- Helpline provided to prevent suicide and help with mental health
Common App- This is used for sending transcripts to colleges.
SaferOhio- Free safety resource and anonymous tip line.
