Principal Message

Good afternoon! We have made it to the halfway point of the first quarter. Interims are listed on ProgressBook. Please check these out with your students. Course grades are important for the earning of credits and if your students is in sports, they are important for remaining academically eligible.

We have several activities coming up over the course of the next two weeks. Picture Day is September 18. There is an Early Release on September 21. On September 23, there will be a parking space painting day. Forms can be picked up in the office. September 24, seniors have access to a college application day where they can receive support in writing applications for college enrollment. September 28 is another Early Release for Parent Teacher Conferences. To schedule conferences, you can call Mrs. Hutson at 740-852-5705 x 3036 or by email at a.hutson@london.k12.oh.us. During conferences this year, we will hold our first 3 E Fair. This is an opportunity to meet with colleges, careers and military options with your student. This will occur on September 28th from 3:00-5:00. Current representatives scheduled to be in attendance include: Army National Guard, US Air Force, US Marines, Clark State, Ohio University, Tolles Adult Education, Ohio Means Jobs, Stanley Electric, Atlas Butler, Ace Hardware, Madison County Correction, Malone University, Tiffin University, Mount Carmel College, Shawnee State, Bluffton University, and LG Honda Battery. This event is open to all grade levels. It is never to early to identify requirements for college, military or the work force. Please continue to help reinforce positive values with your student as we progress through the year. We will continue to promote the values of the Raider Way.

As a reminder, when dropping off students in the morning. Please drop them off so they can exit onto the sidewalk and not have to cross all of the lanes. When dropping off students, all are encouraged to use the entire length of the fire lane when dropping off students. Thanks for your assistance with keeping students safe. Have a great week!

Go Red Raiders!
