"Impact Players of the Week – Makes its Way Across the Street."

The London City Schools "Impact Players of the Week" program recognizes and celebrates the extraordinary relationships formed between student-athletes and dedicated staff members who have provided invaluable support throughout their academic and athletic journeys.

Each week, a student-athlete selects a staff member who has left a lasting impact on their lives, whether a coach, teacher, mentor or another dedicated individual who has been there every step of the way. These selections go beyond mere recognition; they are heartfelt tributes to the power of mentorship and the profound influence educators and support staff have on the lives of our students.

This week, the "Impact Players of the Week" initiative takes a special journey across the street to recognize the following LMS staff members:

  • Mr. Ryan Billings

  • Mrs. Angela Hunter

  • Ms. Kelly Nelson

  • Mrs. Stephanie Vandergriff

This program highlights our staff's extraordinary dedication and underscores the importance of fostering positive relationships within our educational community. We thank the London Football team members for making this special trip to express their appreciation for these dedicated educators."

Stay

"Attendance Matters - Stay in the Game"

London City Schools strongly emphasizes regular attendance, as absences can accumulate quietly over time. Missing just two days per month throughout a nine-month school year can lead to chronic absenteeism. We remind all students to "Stay in the Game."

Final Forms Weekly Update

It's important to note that we are in the same position as last week and didn't see any significant progress. 11% of parents still need to complete their Final Forms submissions, equating to 52 incomplete forms. However, we remain committed to achieving our goal of reaching 90% compliance by next week. Let's rally parents and strive to reach that 90% milestone by next week. Our team members are always available during the school day to support and assist parents who have yet to fulfill their Final Forms.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact Mrs. Dingledine at tammie.dingledine@london.k12.oh.us. Your cooperation in this matter is highly appreciated. Thank you for promptly addressing this crucial issue.

"The Kid to Know from the SRO

By SRO Eric Langham

This week's Student to Know from the SRO is Vance Moerch. Vance consistently greets me with positive interactions, whether during school hours or outside of them. His friendly demeanor and respect for others exemplify the values they hold dear at London Middle School, making him a standout Red Raider. He is not just a student; he's a role model who embodies the spirit of our school and the qualities we hope all students will embrace. We are fortunate to have Vance as part of the LMS community.
